Emma Nelissen LL.M.

Emma Nelissen LL.M is a junior lawyer at Orion Immigration Law. She completed her bachelor's degree in Law at Utrecht University and subsequently completed her master's degree in European Law at Leiden University. During her studies, Emma also gained international academic experience at the University of Bologna in Italy, where she further deepened her knowledge of European and international law.

In her thesis, Emma explored European asylum and migration policy, focusing in particular on the new asylum and migration pact and its practical application within the European Union.

As a junior lawyer, Emma supports the solicitors at Orion Immigration Law in a wide range of immigration and nationality law cases. Her work includes providing advice, preparing applications and drafting procedural documents.

Emma is fluent in Dutch and English.
