Recognised sponsors can apply for, renew, amend and terminate residence permits for highly skilled migrants online via an accelerated procedure. Sometimes, as an employer, you may want to make temporary use of payroll services, for example because you have not (yet) obtained recognition as a sponsor, but already need highly skilled migrants. This payroll company formally acts as a recognised sponsor. You act as a client of the payroll company and as the hirer of your employees. Do you recruit highly qualified people from abroad? There is a good chance that your employee will be eligible for the so-called '30% ruling'. This scheme offers you considerable financial scope to give your employee a tax-free allowance for the costs they incur as an expatriate in the Netherlands. As an employer of expats, you must constantly comply with various rules, and those rules change regularly.
